I have had the privilege of working with patients for the past 17 years in both agency and private practice environments. I spent 10 of those years as a Trauma Therapist for the Westchester County District Attorneys office.
As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
My promise is to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Treatment can range from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions (e.g. thoughts, beliefs and attitudes) and behaviors improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. EMDR is a form of psychotherapy in which the patient is asked to recall distressing images while generating one type of bilateral sensory input such as side to side eye movements or hand tapping.
"Romantic love delivers us in to the passionate arms of someone who will ultimately trigger the same frustrations we had with our parents, but for the best possible reason! Doing so brings our childhood wounds to the surface so they can be healed" - Harville Hendrix. Partnership therapy takes a relationship approach rather than an individual approach to problem solving within the union. This therapy focuses on collaboratively healing childhood wounds that couples share. Safety is created by learning how to communicate without blame and negativity to achieve transformation and healing.
